These five tracks represent the culmination of 10 weeks of intense writing and composition, recording, mixing, and mastering, the result of realizing it was time to convert my love of music and performance into a tangible form that anyone could enjoy, and the outcome of a self-imposed experiment to see whether or not it was possible for me to put together a handful of compositionally interesting, yet really catchy, songs over the course of a single summer.

What resulted is a short album, an EP if you will, called "Optimistic." Every instrument was written and performed by me (okay, so I had to outsource the drums to a sampler because I don't own a drum set!). And yes, that is indeed me on the vocals, as well...

So go ahead and sit back, turn it up, and enjoy the tunes! Thanks for listening.
